Cricketer Virendra Sehwag has made his web series debut and will be seen hosting episodes of a show titled Viru Ke Funde. The 15-episode series will have Sehwag give a humorous take on tackling real life problems which people encounter. He went to the famous The Kapil Sharma Show for the promotions of web series.
Viru ke Funde is about sharing what I have learnt in life and cricket with my real friends, making the experience all the more fun. I am delighted to partner with Viu which has given me a platform to engage with my fans through the digital medium, Sehwag said in a statement.
Each episode of the show will have a run time of two minutes and will have Sehwag doling out advice to his group of friends in a Chai Pe Charcha format. The first five episodes of the show was launched today.
A close source reveals, While shooting, Virender went down memory lane where he spoke about some funny moments with notable cricketers and the victories he had achieved during his cricketing career. Kapil Sharma, Navjot Singh Sidhu and the audience had lots of fun on the show.
Popular cricketers like Brett Lee, Chris Gayle, Irfan Pathan, Wasim Akram, Yuvraj Singh and many have also been part of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show.
