Complete with subtitles for the uninitiated in African-Punjabi accent, the video shows a group of African youths sitting at a dhaba when a furious woman spurns one of them and warns him against contacting her.
Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh ‘s popular number Patiala Peg is already a hit and has been watched over 2.5 crore times on Youtube. But a new version of the same song by a group of African students has also gone viral on social media. The video shows a group of these students sitting at roadside eatery when an angry woman enters the scene and warns one of the boys against calling her in future. That is when the heart-broken boy, alongwith the group decides to re-do Patiala Peg.

Anything but piqued, the youth clinks Patiala Pegs with his friends, and sets out to do a cover of Patiala Peg. Directed by Lovkesh Vij, the video has hit 59,000 views on YouTube, besides going viral on Facebook and having 2,000 likes on Instagram.
