Prime Minister Narendra Modi stormed the entire nation on late evening of November 8, 2016 by announcing that Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 bank notes won’t be valid post the midnight of November 8. As a part of demonetisation measure, government introduced new Rs. 500 and Rs. 2000 currency notes. The prime focus of demonetisation is to curb black money as well as counterfeits of existing currency notes which is now invalid.
Narendra Modi requested people to accept the inconveniences caused due to currency crunch in the country for 50 days, and it has been 50 days, the situation isn’t normal. Still we can see long queues outside ATMs and Banks. In most of the areas, ATMs were closed following new rules and restriction imposed by RBI.
Now, A short film is made on demonetisation in India.This short film is titled as Note Down will be based on the positive impact of demonetisation. Producer Ashoke Pandit announced the upcoming short movie by sharing a poster of the film on tweeter. Ashoke Pandit tweeted, “History was created on 8th Nov 2016…with my short film #NoteDown it would be celebrated #TeaserPoster #ComingSoon,”.
The poster of the Note Dow short film looks unique with a tagline, “The whole thing is that ki bhaiya sabse bada rupaiyaa”. The postor also has another tagline, “A short film made by swiping our credit card”. The short film is directed by Divyansh Pandit and written by Vijay Verma.
