The makers of Mohenjo Daro have finally released its official trailer and it is just what you would expect from an Ashutosh Gowariker flick: Larger then life.
The trailer is enough to give you a hint of what awaits in this epic saga. In a nutshell, the greed of man plays the devil and is about to destroy one of the oldest civilizations of the world. This is when a young idigo farmer arrives in the city, falls in love with the priest’s daughter and uncovers hidden secrets about Mohenjo Daro. The movie which stars Hrithik Roshan, Pooja Hegde, Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh in key roles, is all set to release on August 12.
The film is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Sunita A. Gowariker. It features Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation that dates back to 2600 BC. Watch the trailer below in the youtube link provided.
The film is about a man who falls in love with his enemy’s daughter who is a dancer. Centred on romance through the cultures and ancient civilisations of Mohenjo Daro, Gowariker took over three years to develop the film with the help of archaeologists who documented the discovery of Indus Valley civilisation.
