Ram Gopal Varma’s controversial Telugu political drama film Vangaveeti has hit the screens on the previous Friday. The movie has managed to get an average talk in spite of being more in the light of the media and on social media networks like Facebook and Twitter. Vangaveeti movie has gone controversial and also hit the doors of the court after the popular director Ram Gopal Varma released the Kaapu Kulam song onto the Internet especially on Youtube and on Facebook. Later on, the sessions court has dismissed the case ordering the production team of the movie to remove the song from Internet and as well as from the movie.
Vangaveeti which has been written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma is based on the true-life incidents of a political leader named Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga and his brother Vangaveeti Radha Krishna. This movie narrates the altercation of these two brothers in a caste based divided community in Andhra Pradesh in the early 1980s.
The Ram Gopal Varma directorial Vangaveeti which was released on the past Friday i.e., on December 23rd has fetched decent amounts at the box office. Trade analysts are expecting that the movie may have been collected Rs.1.12 crores on the 7th day of its run in both the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
