Ram Gopal Verma directed Vangaveeti was released on December 23, the Telugu political drama movie was highly awaited by the moviegoers but it failed to keep up with their expectations. With an urge of recreating the atmosphere of 70s and 80s RGV could very well depict the scenarios but the other factors could not do all the wonders for the political drama film.
Vangaveeti raised the expectation levels of most of the South-Indian movie lovers but could not maintain that buzz after its release. Released over 1300 screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana the political drama film witnessed an occupancy rate of 86% on its opening day and there was a slight growth in it on its first weekend but looking at the reviews of the film Vangaveeti box office collection is expected not to stay super strong until its last week.
RGV’s endeavours have always fetched positive responses from his fans but this time he could not portray each and every scenario with extreme excellence through his direction prowess. Even Sandip Kumar’s acting skills were not that appreciated by the viewers due to which Vangaveeti total collection doesn’t seem to be quite impressive until now.
Released over almost 1300 screens in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Vangaveeti created immense buzz among the viewers much before its release. But due to the poor reviews by the moviegoers Vangaveeti box office collection has not yet come out with flying colours with its earnings.
