Tum Bin 2 has released on 18th November and is the sequel of 2001 release Tum Bin that had Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sandali Sinha, Himanshu Malik, and Raqesh Vashisth in the leads. But Tum Bin 2 was somehow has made the extension of the previous one without making any change or a forwarding storyline. Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati starred Tum Bin 2 got 10-15% percent occupancy in general. Made with a budget of 15 crore the movie has reached its second day.
Tum Bin 2 has the possibility to make it great in the international market and as the movie is entirely set in the foreign location it will definitely attract international audiences. Though as it is a movie with mostly newcomers (though Neha Sharma was part of some insignificant projects before), there is no hype regarding the film. Tum Bin 2 2 days overseas box office collection is 1.6 crore (approx).
Whether it is demonetisation or simply lack of good storyline that failed to get numbers at the box office, it is hard to tell. While supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move, Bollywood personalities have claimed that because of this move films are unable to gain good numbers at the box office. If that is the case, we wonder how come the Marvel release of Dr Strange is facing no issues at the ticket counters.
The Hollywood film continues to stay strong after collecting Rs. 6.75 crore in its week 2, taking its total to Rs. 21.98 crore nett. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh informed in his tweet.
