Traffic Review by Taran Adarsh, Komal Nahta- Rajeev Masand, Anupama Chopra Review Traffic

Traffic is the Bollywood movie released today (6 May 2016) also the movie is the Remake of Malayalam Movie with same name and originally written by brothers Bobby and Sanjay. Traffic is produced by Deepak Dhar and two other guys’ movie directed by Rajesh Pillai. The movie features an ensemble cast consisting of Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Shergill, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Divya Dutta, Amol Parashar and debutant Richa Panai.

The first half of Manoj Bajpayee and Jimmy Shergill’s thriller is engaging! There are no stars in the film, only actors which work in the favor of the film in a big way. Every one contributes big time here, be it the senior actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Divya Dutta, Jimmy Shergill, Sachin Khedekar, or the junior ones, like Vishal Singh, Nikita Thukral, and Amol Parasher. The film starts off slowly, however, the pace picks up after the accident.

There is an inherent sincerity about it that makes Traffic one of most genuine films during recent times. As in every film, there may be sequences which you may feel, could have been better. But this one is an overwhelming experience which is a rarity in Malayalam of late. Two big thumbs up for Traffic, don?t miss this one.

Traffic is unlike many of the Hindi films, as in there is no one hero in the film. In fact, it is about how ordinary people behave when faced with an extra ordinary situation that changes their lives forever. An accident happens that interconnects several previously unknown people and binds them on a journey to save a little girl’s life.
