Well, the industry is all set to witness a big box office war in this week. Mohanlal starrer Puli Murugan and Mammootty starrer Thoppil Joppan are ready for a face-off and in all probabilities, both the films would be releasing on October 7, 2016.

Both the films are high on expectations and since both of them have superstars in the lead roles, the industry is surely expecting huge initials for both the movies. Since both the films are releasing on the same date, there might be a divide on the box office collections.
Earlier, Puli Murugan was expected to have a big release, now it has been confined to 165 theatres in Kerala. Thoppil Joppan would also be released in a good number of theatres. So, both the films are unable to go for a big release, as expected.
Puli Murugan has been directed by Vysakh and the film has Mohanlal in the role of a hunter. The film has been made under a huge budget and the movie is expected to release in around 165 theatres in Kerala.
On the other hand, Mammootty starrer Thoppil Joppan has been directed by Johny Antony. Mammootty will be seen in the role of an Achayan, once again, through this film. The film is also in the lines of a mass entertainer.
