Sai Dharam Tej, who debuted as hero from Mega family is on a successful note with his previous films Subramaniam for Sale and Supreme. He slowly started to create his own base despite coming from a biggest family with his hard work. He is now coming with Thikka, on which he has more confidence and high hopes considering it’s content. It is under the direction of Sunil Reddy, who is a debut director under the production of Rohin Reddy having Larissa Bonessi and Mannara chopra as female leads. Team is super confident on this movie which has good expectations. As it is releasing today, let’s see how it works on us.
Sai Dharam Tej is nice as Adithya. He is improving a lot from movie to movie. He is not so convincing when he talks sober. He looks good but in the same look as his previous movies. Larissa Bonessi is okay as Anjali. Mannara Chopra is good. She looks beautiful in some scenes. Satya as friend of Aditya, Steve is good. Sapthagiri and Tagubothu Ramesh are hilarious. Ali is good but mask used to show him as bald looks artificial and unconvincing. Ajay is psychotic and performed well. Rajendra Prasad is impressive as Adithya’s father. Vennela Kishore is super funny as Jayanth. All other artists are fine for their roles.
This story has more back stories and twists which misfire due to screenplay. There are many scenes involving slow motion shots which are good to watch. Numerous glass breaks, many vehicle accidents, breakup scenes, ruckus in public places, slow motion shots are the core of this Thikka. To sum up, Thikka is a very thikka film from Sai Dharam Tej which fails to impress audience.
