Sultan movie collections are on a run to break old records and set new benchmarks. It is setting such high milestones with a fast pace that some special film will be required to break its records. The film is faring in its third week now. In the second week, it earned Rs. 48.80 crores. On the worldwide scale, it has reached the number 3 spot in the list of highest grossers of all times in Hindi cinema. There comes one interesting point in its 2nd week which can be considered a positive point.
An above Rs 30 crore tackle each of the initial four days since its release of the film; Rs 280.10 crore in all till now(by day 17 and to top everything off, Rs 534.13 crore around the world with so many crores coming on the way. The producers were overwhelmed with the collections of the film as it released in multiple languages. The collections after 20 days have been impressive. The collections on 22nd day were also impressive. In almost 20 days, the film collected the maximum revenue. In states other than Maharashtra, the film is still running successfully with packed houses.
On Monday, being weekday Sultan witnessed almost 40% drop than previous day and did the business of 1.30 crore. On Tuesday, it faced slight more drop and as per report estimated to add around 1.10 crore* to its account. With this, movie’s 21 days total will become 291.45 crores* on domestic box office. After 19 days, total domestic collection of the movie was recorded as 289.05 crores. From overseas market too, it is getting quite impressive and minted the amount of total 151.92 crores till its third weekend.
