Super talented actor Randeep Hooda marked some finest performances in Bollywood with his films. He has been busy with number of back to back films that have huge scope for performance throughout. Though none of his recent outings impressed with the commercial figures, his performance has been widely applauded all over. He is back with his latest movie titled Sarbjit which is said to be the life story of a Punjabi farmer named Sarabjit Singh. He crosses the Pakistani border after which he has been accused of terrorism and bomb blasts.
Sarbjit collected Rs 4.56 crores in India and the overseas box office collections have been Rs 2.4 crores. The movie made Rs 6.96 crores on its second day all over and the movie even witnessed huge growth on its third day. After making Rs 11.86 crores in two days, the movie made Rs 5.8 crores on its third day in the country.
The overseas collections have been Rs 2.78 crores. The movie collected Rs 20.44 crores in its first weekend across the world. Made on a budget of Rs 30 crores, the movie is expected to enter the safe zone by the end of first week.
The movie’s budget was 25 crore rupees, because of having T Series itself as the production house, the film had been overall benefited in the perspective of cost savings with the help of optimizations. The film released on over 1500 screens throughout the country, initially. Sarbjit collected 3.69 cr net on day one which is very low for a film with such a whopping budget and star cast. On the Day 2, the collections of Sarbjit movie was not much and limited to 4.5 crore rupees only which also raises another question on Aishwarya’s post-marriage career.
