As we all know, Dhoom 4 and Race 3 are happening. Now a report in DNA has hinted that a certain Khan who has never played a negative role is looking for an image change. If reports are to be believed, Salman Khan will be playing the negative lead in both the movies. He has been approached for both the roles and he has shown a keen interest in them. While he is almost finalised for Race 3, things with Dhoom 4 might still take some time.
Salman wants to play a cool, stylish villain. He has never played one before. His negative role in Race 3 is almost finalised, but discussions are still on with Aditya Chopra for Dhoom 4. The issue is a financial one where Salman wants a stake in D:4, just like Aamir had in Dhoom 3. Salman wants the same profit-sharing ratio that was offered to the D:3 star. Once that is finalised, he’s on.
Salman Khan has never played a baddie in his two decade-old career. Even when he has played a criminal, he has been a good guy. Now, he has been approached by two makers to be part of their sequels as a baddie. Salman Khan’s nod to either of the franchises Race or Dhoom will make them bigger. But the big question is Does Salman want to play a bad guy on the screen, and more importantly will he agree to be part of sequels when he has his own sequels Dabangg and Kick to further.
At the moment, Salman is busy wrapping up Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan, which opens in theatres this Eid. The 50-year-old actor will soon begin shooting for Kabir Khan’s untitled project and also a Rajkumar Santoshi film. If he approves any of the two films, it would be his first as an anti-hero. It now needs to be seen the makers of which movie will walk away with Salman’s maiden villainous act.
