After assisting director Subramania Siva for five years, in 2014 Sumanth Radhakrishnan decided to venture on his own. And it wasn’t easy. Besides facing typical problems an aspiring filmmaker would generally face, he had other challenges to deal with. But all those struggles have paid off. Sumanth is all excited for his directorial debut, which will hit the screens this Friday.
The film maker Sumanth Radhakrishnan’s inevitable Tamil philanthropical thriller Sadhuram 2, a group supported film, is produced using the commitment of enthusiasts of James Wan’s Saw establishment banner. The film is finally making its way into the theatres. The makers are uber confident about making the film a grand success. The film unit wanted to make it a point that the film has to score big at any cost.
The film with its modest 95-minute run time is set to release in about 100 screens across Tamil Nadu.“It is not easy to make a crowd-funded film as you are answerable to a lot of people. At the same time, for me it is a dream come true moment. I’m a huge fan of Saw series. These films have a message and the message is to appreciate life.
