Akshay Kumar’s Rustom has been making huge money at the domestic as well as the international market. After a successful run in the first week, the film witnessed a drop at the box office in week two, but still managed to collect an impressive figure. The film is now expected to surpass the domestic box office collection record of Airlift. Rustom has collected Rs.117 crore net at the domestic box office after 14 days of its release.
In the first week, Rustom reported excellent occupancy and raked the business of 90.90 crores on domestic box office, including 50.42 crores of weekend and 40.48 crores of weekdays. Despite Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro, Akshay Kumar starrer enjoyed terrific response on box office and successfully dominated the opposite one with good difference.

The movie remained strong and collected the amount of 26.11 crores including 17.12 crores of weekend and 8.99 crores of weekdays.
On its third Friday, it faced more than 40% of drop as compare to Thursday and minted 1.47 crore. On Saturday being weekend, Rustom received higher response than previous day and likely to add the amount of 1.92 crores* to its account. With this, total 16 days domestic box office collection of the movie is estimated to become 120.40 crores across India.
