The recent crime Mystery film Rustom has completed its second week at the box office successfully and till now going very well at the box office. The film was released on 12th August with huge buzz and become the 4th highest opener of the year with a collection 14.11 Cr. The low-budget film has gathered a huge collection till now and as per the response and the buzz of the film in the market, it will for sure cross the 200 Cr collection in coming days.
After 10 days total domestic collection of Rustom was recorded as 108.02 crores on domestic box office. From overseas market too, it reported quite good business of 32.34 crores till the second weekend. In weekdays, asusual it witnessed lesser occupancy than before and collected 2.40 crores on Monday, 2.15 crores on Tuesday and 1.90 crore on Wednesday.
Akshay Kumar has also done many Crime Mystery films in his career but it is for the first time that his film has crossed the collection of 100 Cr at the domestic box office. The overseas collection of the film was also as per the expectations and at the end of the first week, the movie had a total box office collection of 32.34 Cr at the overseas box office. The way Akshay Kumar has played the role of the reputed Naval Officer is the best part of the film. At the end of the first week, Rustom had a total collection of more than 100 Cr worldwide in which 91.28 Cr was at the domestic box office.
On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it recorded slight higher occupancy due to holiday on account of Krishna Janmashtami. As per the report, it is estimated to add the amount of 2.45 crores* to its account on 14th day. With this total 2 weeks domestic collection of Rustom will become 116.82 crores*.
