WWE Roadblock could be the end of Chris Jericho and Seth Rollins’ lengthy rivalry, one that has had plenty of intermingling with Raw’s other top feud of Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens.
Jericho and Rollins have, along with Reigns and Owens, dominated Raw’s top storylines in recent months, but after WWE’s recent release of its lead writer, Tom Casiello, we could see some major changes coming to Raw. It’ll be interesting to see if and how Casiello’s release affects Raw’s storylines plans for Jericho, Rollins and everyone else working near the top of the card.
This is an early contender for match of the night. Rollins and Jericho work well together, both on the mic and in the ring. With Royal Rumble a month away and WrestleMania just around the corner, the Rollins push needs to begin as he’s not had much success as of late. It should start Sunday as going over Jericho, who’s been given his fair share of wins during this most recent comeback, means more now than it did a year ago.
Jericho’s involvement in Rollins’ championship clash on the Nov. 21 edition of Raw was the last straw, leading to Rollins hitting him with a Pedigree on top of a car the following week. Owens later went to Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon to make their match official for Roadblock this Sunday.
