Kollywood Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo which dubbed and released in telugu version of the Tamil film of the same name is a romantic-comedy film, which has a right mix of humour, romance, songs, dance and fights. The movie is written and directed by debutant Bhagyaraj Kannan, a former associate of Sundar C and Atlee Kumar, and produced by RD Raja.
Actress Keerthy Suresh in the female lead role and KS Ravikumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Rajendran, Yogi Babu, Aadukalam Naren and others will be seen in supporting roles. The movie has opened to fairly positive reviews from the audience. Sivakarthikeyan’s acting and his chemistry with Keerthy Suresh backed decent story have impressed the viewers. PC Sreeram’s cinematography and Anirudh’s music are the other highlights.
Remo was a huge hit in Kollywood only because of the hit on Screen Pair, superb chemistry, and Shiva Karthikeyan’s craze. But in Telugu, the hero is new and so is the pairing. Taking things from the Telugu audience perspective, Keerthi Suresh is a major attraction of the film and has given a outstanding performance. The story is quite routine and has nothing new to offer.
Remo is quite fascinating. Sivakarthikeyan‘s plays a role of a nurse. He is a male who disguises himself as a female nurse named Remo. He does this to bag a role in a film. Sivakarthikeyan (SK) is basically a theater actor whose only aim is to become a superstar. He meets Kavya, played by Keerthy Suresh, and falls in love with her at first sight. SK’s character meets Kavya as the nurse Remo.
