Vikram Bhatt’s directorial venture failed to impress as a horror flick among the audience in India, and his ever-so-consistent weapon Emraan Hashmi could not do much to save the film in terms of acting. However, its failure as an overall movie did not affect its moderate box office collection as numbers do speak of a lot of people going to the theatres and making it through the entire movie.
Due to initial buzz, Raaz Reboot took decent start on box office across the country but got failed to maintain the pace and started loosing hold over audience from the next day only. Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink which is running smoothly due to strong word of mouth, has diverted most of the audience toward itself and taken good lead over Raaz Reboot.
Vikram Bhatt’s Raaz Reboot was made on a budget of 45 crores, and there is no doubt that the movie will recover its budget amount through its box office collections. But considering the fact that the movie isn’t a good one at all, it will take time. With a total screen count of 1500 around the world, is expected to acquire an approximate earning of almost Rs. 2.5 Crores at the overseas box office on its first day of release. Considering the fact that it’s a weekday, there would be lesser takers for the film compared to a weekend.
On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, it managed to raise the graph and raked the amount of 6.30 crores. After the weekend, total collection of Raaz Reboot was recorded 18.09 crores on domestic box office. Now the movie has entered in weekdays and faced abrupt fall in its occupancy. On Tuesday, it reported the drop of around 60% than Friday and added the amount of 2.61 crores to its account. With this 6 days total domestic collection of the movie has become 20.70 crores.
