Superstar Mohanal is basking in the success of his latest Malayalam movie Pulimurugan, which has been garnering tremendous response from worldwide audience. The Vysakh directorial, in which the actor plays the role of a wild hunter, has already become the biggest grossing Malayalam movie till date.
According to trade analysts, the Mohanlal-starrer has approximately minted over Rs 65 crore from the box office in Kerala within four weeks of its theatrical run. The 31-days collection of the movie from the six multiplexes in Kochi is Rs 3.22 crore – one of the fastest Malayalam movies to achieve this feat. Pulimurugan is said to have earned Rs 8 crore from the screens in rest of India and more than Rs 20 crore from the overseas market in the US, UK, UAE, Poland, Australia, New Zealand and many others.

Pulimurugan, which was released all over the UAE on November 4, has been ranked on the top spot among the list of the biggest grossers this weekend. It is trailing Doctor Strange, Trolls, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and The Accountant. Meanwhile, the Telugu version of the Mohanlal-starrer, titled Manyam Puli, has is scheduled to hit the screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on November 11.
