Phobia First Day Collection- Opening Collection Report at Box Office

Phobia is another horror-thriller movie directed by Ragini MMS and Darr @ The Mall fame Pavan Kriplani released on the 27th, May 2016. Even though released with Ram Gopal Verma’s Veerapan and Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin starrer Waiting this movie has surely made its mark on the audience. We now have the Phobia Movie 1st Day Box Office Collection. The movie has opened with 20%-50% seat occupancy.

In Phobia Movie, Mehak Deo played by Radhika Apte suffers from Agoraphobia (a fear of open spaces and places), after surviving a sexual assault by a cab driver. She’s being shifted to a new house, she’s of the belief that the earlier resident of the house was mysteriously murdered and tries to unravel the mystery. And it’s her struggle between what she suffers from and what she believes in is being depicted in the movie.


Phobia has got superb production elements and amazing picturisation, background score and special effect works are the big attractions on the technical front. Phobia is an out and out multiplex film and caters to niche segment in major cities. The promotion and marketing of this Pavan Kirpalani film has been for a target audience and its USP lies in being unique and innovative. It could well spring a surprise. Though there isn’t much probability of gaining loads over the box office, yet it has the potential to impress the audience. One can expect a figure of Rs 1 Crore* figure on the day one at box office.
