Looks like even a Pawan Kalyan film is not immune to sentimentality, Tollywood-style. The film in the combination of Pawan and SJ Suryah was launched today morning at the new office of Sharrat Marar, the film’s producer and Power Star’s long-time friend. The film was launched without any preceding announcement, much less fanfare.
The reason why the makers have chosen the date, is because it was on this day in 2001 that Khushi hit the screens. Nobody needs to be reminded of what a big hit this Pawan-Suryah film went on to become. As for the present film, it’s a love story in the backdrop of faction. Music is by Anup Rubens. Two songs penned by lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry were recently recorded in a Mumbai studio. The heroine is yet to be finalized. SJ Suryah could surprise the audience by going for a debutante.
Pawan Kalyan attended the event. Director S J Suryah shot the muhurtham scene on the photos of deities. The Muhurat shot clap was sounded by producer Sudhakar Reddy, while Gowtham Raju switched on the camera and director S.J Suryah directed the first shot. This is third film in the hit combination of Pawan Kalyan and S J Surya of Kushi fame. Anup Rubens is composing the music.
The launch of this new film took place at producer Sharat Marar’s office in Hyderabad. S.J Suryah along with writer Akula Siva have been working on the story for the last 4 months, constantly discussing and sharing the progress with Pawan Kalyan. The director of photography is Soundar Rajan who has earlier done ‘Billa’ and recently ‘Bengal Tiger’.
Gowtham Raju is the editor.Art director is Bramha Kadali and twin brothers Ram-Lakshman are the action directors. Story and dialogues by Akula Siva. Screenplay-direction by S.J Surya.
