The major highlight of Oppam is the association of Mohanlal and Priyadarshan, who have delivered many superhits movies in Malayalam Oppam marks the reunion of the actor-director team after three years.
Mohanlal is playing the character of a lift operator named Jayaraman. He is blind, but we have discovered one thing while interacting with some visually challenged individuals. They are quite different from the blind characters that we have seen in films until now. Jayaraman started learning kalari and music from his younger days. Oppam is a fun film and not a dark film.
