Ok Jaanu 3rd Day Collection: Sunday / Weekend Box Office Report

OK Jaanu Third Day Box Office Collection

The mixed reviews of critics, have melted down the hype of OK Jaanu among audience and now they are looking more exited towards Hollywood’s Return of Xander Cage, which also features Deepika Padukone in a pivotal role. This has affected its box office performances also. As per critics, the new Hindi release is enjoyable with no doubt, but only for those who haven’t watched the original one OK Kanmani (Tamil) till yet.

The story of Shraddha Kapoor’s success begun with Aditya Roy Kapoor when the duo comes with amazing onscreen chemistry. Ok Janu lost a big plot because of the same reason. Fans were expecting an emotional love story with lots of melodrama. The second important reason of Ok Jaanu collection failure is a remake. With such strict trends of growth, the movie will be hardly able to mint out the costs.

The film spotted performing below the level of par. With only 20% occupancy during the opening day as Lohri, Ok Jaanu spotted losing the grip. There was quite a certainty that movie will attract the fans. But what actually happened only recurring audience of Aashiqui 2 visited the theaters on the first day hoping for the much better part.

Film did take a slight rise in States like Gujarat and Rajasthan. The booking slots remain vacant for the front seats in states like Delhi. Mumbai did perform up to the expectations being the city of film lovers. Cut through the edge competition in Multiplexes didn’t allow the overall occupancy to go far beyond the mark of 22%.

Overall a better day with 28% occupancy around the country and 25% hike in the collection. Ok Janu 3rd day collections stand at 5.3 crore rupees. Makar Sankranti holiday played a significant role in boosting the numbers up.
