Nirmala Convent movie introducing new talents to Tollywood industry, It was written and directed by G. Naga Koteswara Rao and jointly produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni and Nimmagadda Prasad under the banners of Annapurna Studios, Matrix Team Works. Roshan is the son of senior actor Srikanth, Nagarjuna took the chance to introduce him to the industry with Nirmala Convent who earlier appeared in Rudhramadevi movie as a child artist.
Samuel is a cool going boy who hails from a poor family while Shanthi is the daughter of a local King. They both study in the only English medium school available nearby called Nirmala Convent. Meanwhile, they get to know each other, fall in love eventually and this issue reaches their families. Being from a rich family, Shanthi’s family objects their love.
Roshan who made his debut has done a decent job. He was capable of delivering performance and his eye expressions were impressive. Shriya who thrilled in her childhood performances has done a good job. King Nagarjuna needs nothing to be commented about but he sounded pale in few scenes where the script should be blamed.
Music is the biggest asset to the movie which has been composed by Director Koti’s son Roshan Saluri. Song titled Love you Kiss you has made place in the chartbusters of the year. Editing, cinematography, DA works are cool. However, looks like the director has not thought anything new except that the lead pair was fresh on screen.
Overall Nirmala Convent is not a worthy one, When it comes to lead stars it was a one-time watch, Routine, and predictable story.
