A revolutionary attempt in Kannada movie industry, as very rare movies try to make a horror movie that is not only convincing but also is too perfect to be compared with some of the most successful Hollywood attempt. Mummy – Save Me is one of those kind that is too modern in its approach and has created a lot of curiosity among the audiences. The movie is slated to release on 2nd December and is there is lot of buzz around it.
The buzz says that a special screening was organised for Jyothika and her husband Suriya recently. The star couple was apparently impressed by the film and the first round of talks are reportedly over. The Kollywood remake rights have been sold for an undisclosed price.
Priyanka Upendra will be seen in the role of a seven-month pregnant woman and six-year old Yuvina Parthavi enacts the role of his daughter. Ajaneesh Loknath of Ulidavaru Kandanthe fame has composed the music. HC Venu has handled the cinematography, while C Ravichandran has edited the flick.
The critics have expectation with Mummy – Save Me made with a budget of 36 crore. The box office analyses suggest that the movie may get 60% and above occupancy and may earn around 5-6 crore on its release date.
