As the pervious movie of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was a great success it was thought that the next venture of this actor MSG: The Warrior Lion Heart can be one of the hits of this year. But the way the promotion worked that failed to put any impact on its release day business. The movie has made on a grand level where the team has tried to put almost everything from Alian attack to mythological aspect but only to fail in the box office terribly.
On the opening day, MSG The Warrior Lion Heart recorded almost 100% occupancy on around 550 screens across the country and did the business of 1.25 crore, which is good infact. But the figures disclosed by the officials, are way higher than this, so it is better not to go in deep.
MSG The Warrior also has a poor opening and as per the record it got less than 7% occupancy in all over India. The only positive response has came from Haryana and Delhi where the movie has a good start, especially at multiplexes. However there are reports that the lead actor Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has booked all the shows there, though none of us know the truth of the story. In all other places of India it had a limited release and is a complete waste.
On the next day i.e. Saturday, being weekend and due to the strong support of fans, the movie remained steady and added the amount of 1.50 crore* to its account. With this, 2 days total collection of MSG The Warrior Lion Heart has become 2.75 crores* on domestic box office and from overseas too, it has reported quite good business.
