The film has been left with few screens across the nation and collection is coming in blow crore in Indian markets. The Neeraj Pandey directed MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has been having a brilliant run at the box office with steady collection. The movie on captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni has completed 20 days at the Indian box office and has bagged the title of 3rd highest grosser of the year after Sultan and Airlift.
After 19 days, total collection of the movie was recorded as 127.12 crores net on domestic box office. Now once again MS Dhoni The Untold Story is running in weekdays and asusual getting lesser occupancy than before. On third Monday, it reported almost 35% drop than last Friday and raked the amount of 0.97 crore.
The film is all set to become the second highest box office grosser of the year, after Salman Khan’s Sultan. Being much demanded film of the year the biopic has been released in over 3,500 screens in India, and a total of 4,500 screens in 60 countries. The film grossed 177 Cr (128.84 Cr) from Indian market and 32 Cr collected from overseas market. Including both markets box office collections the film’s worldwide income stands with 209 Cr gross in 19 days run.
In the second week, it remained the first choice of audience despite several fresh Hindi releases and registered the excellent business of 27.35 crores with 15.17 crores of weekend and 12.18 crores of weekdays. In the third weekend, the movie remained strong and minted the amount of 5.64 crores, with 1.51 crore of Friday, 2.01 crores of Saturday and 2.12 crores of Sunday.
