The success of the film hasn’t come as a surprise to many. First of all, it was based on one of the most popular cricketers – Dhoni. People were curious to know the man behind brand Dhoni. To the credit of filmmakers, they have been able to find out an actor who could portray Dhoni on screen with complete honesty.
Other actors also contributed to the film. Their presence was crucial in building an emotional connect between film and audience. There is still some time before new releases take over MS Dhoni movie at theatres. Film will definitely benefit from the dismal performance of Mirzya that didn’t quite work at the box office.
