This Friday will be tough as we have two big movies of 2016 releasing the same day. At one end you have the Magnus Opus of Ashutosh Gowariker called Mohenjo Daro starring Hrithik Roshan and on the other end you have Akshay Kumar starrer film Roustom inspired from some real life incident of fifties.
Comparing the two films, Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegede seems magnificent considering the fact that the film is a period drama showcasing the characters of Indus Valley Civilization. The film starring Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz will have a taut thriller based over the murder which involves one of the prestigious officers from Navy.
Comparing the two movies in terms of the number of views for trailer and songs, Rouston seems to have scored better on YouTube than Mohenjo Daro. Both the films will certainly going to test their mettle over the box office during the extended weekend owing to Independence Day holiday. The budget of the film will decide upon the success of the film. Rustom is made at a cost of 50 crores, while MD is made at a cost of around 100 crores.
Now, talking about the business, the first day box office collection for Mohenjo Daro, the film is expected to collect 12-15 crores, which would certainly get a good boost in the first weekend in collection. Talking about the other movie, the experts feel that the first day collection of Rustom would toll to round 10-12 crores. It will certainly going to boost in the coming first weekend of the film.
