Hrithik Roshan starrer Mohenjo Daro is now just crawling on box office. Despite being highly star powered, budgeted and promoted, this epic adventure has not witnessed much response on box office and marked as one of the biggest flops of the year. Due to its weak execution, Mohenjo Daro got failure to satisfy critics as well as moviegoers, which melted down all its hype in few days of release. Now the movie is in its second week and due to cold reactions of audience it raked only 3.88 crores in the second weekend, including 1.05 crore of Friday, 1.28 crore of Saturday and 1.55 crore of Sunday.
The first weekend of the film was as per the mark and collected a good income of 30 Cr at the domestic box office but the weekdays of the film was average at the box office and at the end of the first-week movie Mohenjo Daro had a total collection of more than 35 Cr only. The second weekend was even worst than the weekdays as because of the latest movie arrivals movie lost its hold over the audience and faced low occupancy rate on the first day of the 2nd weekend.
On its second Tuesday, it faced almost 40% of drop than last Friday and minted 0.60 crore*. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it recorded slight more drop and estimated to add the amount of 0.50 crore* to its account. With this total 13 days collection of Mohenjo Daro will become 56.16 crores* on domestic box office. This week is likely to be the end of its journey on box office, because from next Friday Tiger Shroff’s A Flying Jatt is releasing.
