After a long time, actor Hrithik Roshan made his comeback with an epic adventure romantic movie Mohenjo Daro directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. The movie is Ashutosh’s dream project as he was working on this project from last 3 years. MohenJo Daro is produced by Sidharth Roy Kapur, Sunita A Gowarikar and Ashutosh Gowarikar himself under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowarikar Productions Pvt. Ltd. (AGPPL). Mohenjo Daro Release Date was 12th August and Mohenjo Daro 12th Day Box Office Collection is not so good even after it opened with positive reviews.
In the opening week, Ashutosh Gowariker’s directorial this epic-adventure reported lesser occupancy than expected and did the business of 51.18 crores on domestic box office, including 30.55 crores of weekend and 20.63 crores of weekdays. The week total is decent but as compare to its whopping budget of 115 crores, Mohenjo Daro disappointed everyone.
Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro Budget is 100 Crore rupees and it already earned 60 crore rupees by selling its satellite rights. This is a great deal by makers as the film released with Akshay Kumar’s Rustom. Rustom will definitely affect Mohenjo Daro Box Office Collection. The makers have already dragged them on a safe side, so now they need not to worry much. It is one of the big clash of 2016 as two big movies released on same day.
Now the movie is in the second week and due to cold reactions of viewers, it witnessed very low response in the second weekend and raked the business of only 3.88 crores, including 1.05 crore of Friday, 1.28 crore of Saturday and 1.55 crore of Sunday. After 10 days, total collection of Mohenjo Daro was recorded as 55.06 crores across India and 26.20 crores from overseas market. With this, total 12 days domestic collection of Mohenjo Daro will become 55.66 crores*. With this pace, it won’t be possible for the movie to survive after this week.
