This week everyone is talking about the latest release of Rajniknath Kabali but there is another extra ordinary film which is released on the same date 22nd July 2016 Madaari. The movie was released with not that much hype which was expected because of the tough competition. The way Irrfan Khan played his role is the main key part if the film. The story line of the film is based on a true incident which took place in 2012 with a metro pillar.
Along with it, some more Hindi movies have been released this Friday but under the table, which means these movies have no buzz among audience. So Madaari can be considered as solo Hindi release of this week, which is heading on an average across the country. Due to favorable response, the movie witnessed decent growth in its business from the second day but still stands in a danger zone.
The first day of the movie was not that much good but not that much bad. The film captured a basic occupancy of 55% on the opening day with a box office collection of 4.19 Cr. The 2nd day of the film was better than the first one and collected a income of 5.01 Cr. Today is the 3rd day of the film at the box office today again movie captured a good occupancy.
On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, being public holiday it started the day on a better note than Saturday and witnessed decent growth in its occupancy from evening shows. As per the report, Madaari is estimated to add the amount of 4.50 crores* to its account on the third day. With this, its total opening weekend collection will become 10.25 crores across India.
