Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No.150 is hitting worldwide screens on Jan. 11th, 2017. The movie has immense craze among the Telugu audience as it features the comeback movie of Chiranjeevi after a gap of 10 years in the Industry. Directed by V V Vinayak, the film is an official remake of Tamil film Kaththi. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead role in this 150th film of Chiranjeevi and Devi Sri Prasad composed the music of the movie. Ram Charan produced the film under his Konidela Productions banner.
The movie is going to release in record number of Theaters on day 1 and hence it was expected to collect between Rs 24 to 27 crores share at Ap/Tg box office on the first day of its release irrespective of the talk. Even several benefit shows and fans shows were planned all over the Two Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana which helps the movie to score All Time record collections on day 1 of its release for a Telugu movie beating the previous best Baahubali The Beginning which minted Rs 22.4 crores.
On the other hand, the movie was expected to collect between Rs 3.5 to 5 crores share in Karnataka, Rs 3 to 5 crores in the USA. In rest of the areas, it was expected to collect between Rs 2 to 4 crores.
The total 1st-day worldwide collections of Khaidi No.150 was expected to collect between Rs 32.5 to 37.5 crores. Thus the movie was expected to surpass the record of Baahubali: The Beginning at the Ap/Tg box office but it was difficult to cross worldwide day 1 collections of Baahubali: The Beginning which are at Rs 47 crores. However, Khaidi No.150 is not releasing in Hindi and other areas widely unlike Baahubali: The Beginning to surpass worldwide collections of Top grossing Telugu movie.
