Christmas is the third biggest festival season after Vishu (Summer season) and Onam in Kerala. Traditionally year end films have done good business as it is school holidays and the climate is pleasant in the state. Kerala government too tried their best to solve the issue but even the latest meet arranged by minister AK Balan ended as a failure.
On the other hand, this situation comes as a huge advantage for other language films including Vishal’s Kaththi Sandai and Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which will be releasing in major screens across the state. However a disruptive section within the industry are trying to sabotage other language releases, but the national multiplexes who are not part of KFEF will go ahead.
