Rajinikanth is all set to create history in the U.S. with his latest movie Kabali. The Tamil superstar’s film is getting ready to do a record business from the premiere shows in the U.S. and is expected to shatter the records of Bahubali, which is also spelt as Baahubali.
Kabali is releasing in above 450 screens in the U.S. in two versions (Tamil and Telugu). Cashing in on the huge craze around the movie, Cine Galaxy, the distributor for the region, has decided to release the movie in as many screens as possible and aims to release the multilingual film in 500 screens, which will be a new record for a South Indian movie.
However, the exact locations of the premiere shows have not been revealed yet. Still, trade experts are confident of Kabali beating several records, including those of Bahubali. It is because there has been amazing response for the special shows and tickets have been completely sold out at many centres. Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali will be having premiere shows on July 21.
A Malaysian media company, will simultaneously release the film in Malay for exclusive screening in Malaysia alongside the original Tamil version. Considering the demand, it has been revealed that three premiere shows have been planned in a popular theatre in Malaysia. The price of the ticket is said to be 100 Malaysian Ringgits.
