Kabali Day One Collection, Business or Income- Today Opening Day Collection Report at Box Office

Rajinikanth’s Kabali is set to make an earth-shattering collection at the box office in its first weekend. Trade experts are predicting the three versions of the movie, in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, would gross over Rs. 100 crore.

The multilingual movie is getting released in over 4,500 screens in the three languages. While special shows are being organised in some countries on July 21, it will hit the screens a day later in India. The response to the advance booking has clearly indicated that the movie will strike gold at the box office.

In South India, where Rajinikanth enjoys a huge fan following, Kabali is expected to do wonders for the makers. The demand for tickets has been unprecedented, and they are being sold for never-seen-before prices in the black market. Cashing in on the craze around Kabali, the number of shows has been increased in multiplexes and single screens alike. In Bengaluru, where there is no cap on the ticket rates like in Tamil Nadu, cinema halls are charging exorbitant prices.

The major advantage that Kabali enjoys is that the movie will be exempt from the 30 percent entertainment tax and has met all the criteria listed by the state government in order to get the tax exemption. Hence, the gross box office collection in Tamil Nadu will be the net income for the makers. Kabali has done a business of Rs. 225 crore even before its release from the sale of theatrical, audio and satellite rights, along with other deals.
