Kabali of Rajinikanth is doing up to the mark performance on the box office. Film released less than a week ago had already shattered the records of many blockbuster films. Along with Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu and Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN, Kabali 5th day collections had also breaked the record of being the biggest hit of super star Rajini. Famous for his unbelievable stunt scenes and exemplary style in the film, Kabali rocked almost every screen throughout the country.
After analysing the trade estimates closely. It’s seen that the film had actually outperformed Irrfan Khan’s Madaari. Being competing a hindi film with close face off against each other on the box office, was never an easy task for any south Indian film. Despite getting release in mere 1000 screens in northern India. Hindi version had worked very well on the box office as well.
The makers were very much impressed with records of Indian silver screen. Rajinikanth plays a Malaysian don in the film. Radhika Apte is playing the female lead of the film. P A Ranjith is the film director. Kalaipuli S Thanu is the film producer. Santosh narayan is the music director of the film. The film has received mixed reviews and going by the buzz we are pretty sure that they are going to make their investments and walk into the profits path.
Now the movie is running in weekdays and asusual started getting lesser occupancy than weekend. On Monday, it witnessed the drop of almost 55% than Saturday and raked the business of 13.50 crores across India. On Tuesday, Kabali reported slight more drop and estimated to add 11.25 crores* to its account. With this, its 5 days domestic net total will become 134.75 crores*.
