After a record-breaking opening day with the gross collection of around 87 crores worldwide, Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte starrer Kabali remained strong on Saturday. As per the early estimates, Kabali witnessed a drop of around 30% in occupancy compared to the opening day. The movie collected around 34 crores on Saturday to take its domestic Box Office total to 81 crores.
Being a Rajinikanth’s territory, his fans are roaring to the theaters. The movie registered an overall occupancy of around 95% on Saturday. AP/Nizam witnessed some drop on Saturday with the overall occupancy was around 80%. Kerela, Karnataka and other south Indian states also witnessed a drop of around 30% compared to the first day. Kabali won’t be affected till Sunday as it has already been sold out in major South markets. The real test will start from Monday when WOM and reviews start to play an important role.
Kabali will going to collect more than the expectations of the makers as per the sources saying. Kabali was release on more than 5200 screens worldwide. Kabali was release in US as well and it shows up its light on more than 400 screens in USA. Kabali had set the goal and had created a buzz among the audience in the way that the audience got crazy for the film and the advance bookings of the seats in the theatres has been started. Kabali is having a great response from the audience worldwide and it can be seen by the bookings of the seats in the theatres.
