Too many films releasing this Friday, which include some small time movies, which have been seen releasing in single screen without any buzz in the media, except the two big movies of the day called Junooniyat and Raman Raghav 2.0. Despite having a decent buzz for the two films, the opening has been hampered particularly of the former one. Let’s talk about it first.
Junooniyat is a typical love and romantic movie starring Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam, which however, didn’t manage to get a good opening. The film opened up with the occupancy of 5 percent in the morning shows, which went on a bit of high ride in the evening shows. Yet it failed to impress the audience. As per reports, the first day box office collection for Junooniyat tolled to around 2 crores, which is still a decent amount for it.
The director of the film, Vivek Agnihotri has been expressing his confidence on the film from the beginning. Successfully, he brought the film into the theatres to know the response from the audiences on his film. Hence, an elated and excited director and actor has posted, Thanks everyone who helped make this small film with big heart. With all its innocence, simplicity, poetry, music, heartbeats, goose pimples, love, separations, tears, passion and of course Junooniyat.
The makers are very much happy about the output too. Vivek Agnihotri is successful in direction and has brought out the best from all. The drawback is that A stereotypical story and overuse of cliched dialogues made the film a spoiler. Also, the film gets completely predictable in the story line. The film can be easily skipped so that we can watch it in the theatres of the film.
