Bollywood Super Star Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sultan is all set to release on Wednesday over the auspicious occasion of Eid. The Sultan film comes as a special treat for everyone on the occasion of Eid. The film’s advance bookings have commenced and the responses have been terrific. For the first time, shows have started to get Housefull for day one within just two hours of the start of sale of tickets. There is a huge demand now for the tickets of Sultan from everyone.
The total budget of the movie is 90 crore rupees out of which 70 crores were utilized towards the production and shooting costs. 20 crores advanced towards as cost of advertising and printing. With overall estimated whopping budget of 90 crores, the flick remains one of the most expensive films of 2016.
Total screen count of the movie was one of the greatest after Bajirao Mastani. Sultan released on over 5100 screens throughout the world. Among which around 1100 screens were from the overseas market. Not being declared as a tax-free movie in any of the states like Bajrangi Bhaijaan might be a strong point for the filmmakers.
The opening show and the evening show of the film were almost full. Many shows were houseful before evening itself but all the night shows are already filled up. Ticket to the movie reaches clouds with whooping prices of more than Rs. 300 for a show in Capital region. The occupancy during the morning shows were more than 70% which drops a bit to 40% in the noon shows. However, the night and evening are expected to run well with over 80% occupancy.
