Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru Live Review, Rating & Response- First 1st Day Collection at Box Office

Actor Rahman who has been giving some impressive performance in supporting and negative characters in second innings of acting career has played the lead role in the upcoming Tamil thriller flick Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru directed by Karthik Naren, a 21 year old youngster hailing from Coimbatore.

The film has been written and directed by Karthik who has apparently not worked as Assistant director under any director. ‘D-16‘ has been produced by Knight Nostalgia Filmotainment banner.with predominantly new comers in the cast and technical crew. The film has been shot in a very shot span of 28 days.

James Bejoy has rendered the musical score. Sujith Sarang has handled the Cinematography. Sreejith Sarang has done the Editing. Director Gautham Menon released the first look poster, and Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman released the Trailer of the film. The trailer aptly served the purpose of creating a positive buzz about the film.

The story of Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru is not new for someone, who regularly watch Malayalam films as they have made some fascinating investigative thrillers on par with world cinema. But Karthick Naren steals the show with his execution, his non-linear screenplay and slick production values make it a compelling watch.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Karthick Naren has used sound design and camera angles to narrate the story. Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru has its flaws as well, a constable in Tamil Nadu having high degree English conversation with his superior officer is unbelievable.Though Rahman is fine with his expressions, he still struggles with his Tamil dialogue delivery and not quite convincing as the protagonist.
