Aamir Khan’s Dangal is doing awesome business over the screens till today. The film saw its second Monday today and the total occupancy and performance of the film is still decent after drop. Due to enormous hype, superstar Aamir Khan starrer this sports biopic was released last Friday and witnessed overwhelmed response of audience across the country as well as overseas. From critics also, it has received very positive reviews, which generated strong word of mouth about it.
On its 2nd Friday, Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial recorded only 10% of drop than previous day and added the amount of 18.59 crores to its account. Then on Saturday, being weekend it showed good growth and scored 23.07 crores. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie raked the business of 31.27 crores and made its 10 days total box office collection as 270.47 crores on domestic box office. From international market too, it reported quite impressive performance and collected 141.60 crores till its 2nd Sunday.
Aamir Khan’s magnum opus seems to be getting appreciated all over the domestic country and the overseas screens as well. 11th day has reported nice business from different places and altogether on its second Monday, Dangal has made the collection of around 15.52 Crores* and now stands with a total of 285.99 crores* at the Box Office. Dangal is all set to cross the 300 crore mark by its 2nd week at the domestic market. Having released in a festive season, the film has had an overwhelming run at the box office all these days.
Now once again Dangal is in weekdays but still has strong hold over the audience. On 2nd Monday, it faced around 40% of drop than Friday and did the business of 9.70 crores*, which has made its 11 days domestic total as 280.10 crores*. With this pace, the movie is positively expected to surpass the lifetime total of Salman Khan’s Sultan (300.45 crores) by this week.
