It is a big day for the fans of megastar Chiranjeevi as his comeback movie has finally taken off on Friday, April 29. The film, which has been referred to as Chiru 150, is tentatively titled, Kaththilantodu. The makers organised a simple event to launch the film at Chiranjeevi’s residence in Hyderabad. The whole family, including Allu Arjun and his father Allu Aravind, was present on the occasion.
Chiranjeevi’s son, actor Ram Charan Teja, is producing the movie under the banner of Konidela Production Company. The cast and crew of the movie has not been revealed yet. It is confirmed that Devi Sri Prasad and Rathnavelu have been signed up to handle the music and cinematography departments, respectively. Reports that Nayanthara had been approached to play the female lead role have been recently denied by the actress.
The film will go on the floors sometime in the first week of June. Allu Aravind powered the project during its first shot, which was directed by Naga Babu. The shoot began with its first clap by Paruchuri Venkateshwara Rao. Pre-production goes on in full swing and the shoot is slated to kick start in November.
