Brahmotsavam 5th Day Collection- Tuesday Box Office Collection Report

The most awaited family entertainer movie Brahmotsavam banged the box office from the very first day of release. Brahmotsavam is a good family movie and succeed in attracting family audience on a high note. The movie directed by Sreekanth Addala. The story of the film is based on a NRI family who celebrate all festivals together and this is why movie named as Brahmotsavam. The movie has been released on 1000 screens of Andhra Pradesh and Telagana and total 3000 screens worldwide.

The Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Kajal and Pranitha starrer received decent response in the early morning shows. Its occupancy was low compared to that of Prince’s previous releases. Its business was affected by cyclone. Brahmotsavam garnered mixed talk from the audience and the word-of-mouth hindered its growth in the later shows. The Srikanth Addala-directed family drama witnessed 75 percent drop on Saturday and it could not show growth on Sunday too. Its business was affected by bad weather and negative word-of-mouth.


Mahesh Babu has been seen in the main lead role of the film and Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead of the film. The film has been made in a budget of 75 Crore and as per the response of the audience towards the movie will very soon collect its production cost in coming days. movie had opened with a huge hype and collected a huge amount on the first day. The 2nd day of the movie was faced a little down fall. The last day of the weekend movie lost its 45% of occupancy and down fall in a collection of 35.81 %.However movie got great response in India as well as overseas.

Considering its pre-release hype, the trade experts in T-Town had predicted Brahmotsavam would shatter all the records of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, which did good collection in the first weekend, but turned out to be disaster on the following days. Its three-day business is lesser than the first day collection of the Pawan Kalyan starrer, which collected Rs. 26.90 crore gross (Rs. 20.92 crore share) on its opening day in the two states.
