The problem with Bayam Oru Payanam is that the film tries too hard to be scary and drowns under sheer tediousness and predictability. The worst thing to do after a horror or suspense film is to write a review that bares all. Director Manisharma uses non-linear narration to surprise us but unfortunately, we would have already guessed the next scene! Billed as a horror thriller, this one should have given us an edge of the seat movie watching experience but the end result is horrendous that one can’t sit through
It is a nice film to watch and scream out as loud as possible whenever a terrifying scene shows up. If you are horror lover, watch it with some grace as you are not gonna disappoint with this film. The script was interesting and some other places we don’t understand some scenes which doesn’t involve even with the story. But it is a nice film overall.
