The romantic action drama Baaghi which is directed by Sabbir Khan is fair on single screens, especially in small cities, and will continue to do well in its 3rd weekend. However the film’s business effected due to new Hollywood film Captain America which opened also in flying reviews in India also. Today the film marked on 14th day and despite getting negative talk from critics the Shraddha-Tiger shroff starrer continued to rake moolah at box office.
In the opening week, it had reported the business o 59.72 cr and registered the third highest opening week box office collection of the year so far after Airlift and Fan. The first week total includes 38.58 cr of weekend and 21.14 cr of weekdays. In the second weekend, it faced little competition due to latest Hollywood release Captain America Civil War and minted the amount of 7.91 cr, that includes 2.31 cr of Friday, 2.43 cr of Saturday and 3.17 cr of Sunday. After the 10 days, total domestic collection of Baaghi was calculated as 67.63 cr.
At worldwide box office it has raked over 115 cr, that includes domestic collection, distribution shares and overseas business of around 17 cr. The film has been performing well so far. With excellent responses all over the country, the film even in its second week seems to be holding up well. It is the 13th working day for the film and the box office collections even today is awesome as compared to other movies. Audience craze is still on the top for Baaghi this Wednesday.
Now Sajid Nadiadwala’s latest venture is once again running in weekdays and asusual witnessing lesser response than weekend. With considerable drops in its business, it collection of amount of 1.38 cr on Monday and 1.21 cr on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, it added the amount of 1.07 cr* to its account. After 13 days of release, total collection of Baaghi is recorded as 71.29 cr* on domestic box office.
